OVERVIEW OF THE POSITON:

Based in New York, Herbert Mines Associates seeks an Associate/Senior Associate to support the execution of senior level, retail and consumer retained executive searches. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proactively and strategically develop a search strategy, target list and conduct all database and external research to identify appropriate candidates and sources.
  • Conduct outreach calls, assess and reference candidates and make compelling interview recommendations.
  • Actively participate on client status calls and assist in managing client relationships.
  • Attend competitive pitch meetings and support business development activities.

EXPERIENCE PROFILE:

  • Brings a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Brings relevant recruiting experience from in-house or executive search firm (preferably retained) at the senior executive level.
  • Ideally would bring experience from the retail/consumer sector and/or a passion/interest in the space.
