She/he is energized by businessdevelopment, skilled at team-building, and passionate about serving clients well. The ideal candidatewill have: Experienceo 15-20 years’ experience and advancement to a key position in a relevant industry sector.o General management, commercial leadership, consulting, and business development experienceare particularly relevant. A track record of success in personalized professional servicesbusinesses is an advantage.o Demonstrated experience successfully selling or influencing the acceptance of intangibles suchas an idea, strategic plan, or a service.o Demonstrated successful client, constituency or stakeholder relationship managementexperience. Skillso Full range of leadership skills – people and team development and motivation.o Understands and has dealt effectively when necessary with organizational dynamics and politics,but prefers to leave politics and ego at the door.o Project management skills to keep teams (and clients) on track to a successful close.o Strong written and oral communication skills.
