Odgers Berndtson: Results of Chief Procurement Officers Global Survey

Odgers Berndtson presents the results of its joint survey with Deloitte of Chief Procurement Officers around the world. Over 450 CPOs from 36 countries participated in the survey, allowing Odgers and Deloitte to gain crucial insight into the role. The report shows that talent and an ineffective transition to digital are two crucial challenges to current CPOs.

Other notable findings include:

  • 87% of CPOs surveyed say talent is the greatest factor in driving procurement performance.
  • 25% of those surveyed spend less than 1% on training budgets.
  • 62% of respondents feel there is a large to moderate skills gap across analytical abilities.
