Peter’s competencies include strong leadership skills, sound business acumen, strategic thinking, and strong diplomacy skills.
Peter’s experience includes over 20 years as a Director and Associate with Melbourne Business School and was an Associate at Macquarie Graduate School of Management. He is also a regular speaker at The Executive Connection (TEC).
Peter’s most recent book, ‘The CEO Checklist’, is a management guide to excellence in leadership, business, and performance. Dharma was appointed to the role of Chief People Officer at the ABC in October 2021. Dharma joins the ABC with a broad range of experience in senior human resources, strategy, legal and corporate communications roles as a consultant, corporate executive, and non-executive director across Australia, Asia, and the Middle East.
Dharma’s previous roles include Partner within Boyden Australia’s Leadership Consulting Practice, Partner in Charge of KPMG Australia’s People Advisory Practice, Managing Partner of Ernst & Young’s Far East Area Performance & Reward Practice (based in Hong Kong), Leader of Towers Perrin’s Asia-Pacific Financial Services Practice (based in Singapore) and Leader of Hewitt Associates’ Asia-Pacific M&A Practice (based in Kuala Lumpur).
He has also held permanent and interim senior executive roles at McKinsey & Co, Westpac, Suncorp, Leighton Holdings, GFG Alliance and Emaar (based in Dubai).
Dharma has been a member of the Advisory Board or Panel for several NSW Government institutions, including iCare NSW and Service NSW. He has served on the Board of Mortgage Choice as a Non-Executive Director, Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and member of the Audit and Risk Committee and is currently a Non-Executive Director of 7-Eleven Australia, a position he has held since 2016.

Cynthia is a patent holder for a cloud-based CRM application that she developed that leverages data from multiple systems and user-generated inputs to enable personalised learner support and mentoring. Cynthia's application is currently used by the United States Army to support more than half a million soldiers and civilians engaged in training around the world.

Carol is a passionate supporter of diverse working environments and has been instrumental in the placement of a number of Australia’s leading female executives. Prior to joining Stanton Chase, Carol was a Partner with global search firm Boyden and previously was Managing Director within the C-Suite & Board Practice at Allegis Partners. Before establishing a career in search, Carol held senior executive roles in professional services. She completed her business studies at the University of Melbourne. Carol has served on the Board of Women in Banking and Finance (WiBF) for 10 years. She is a member of the executive search working group of the 30% Club in Australia, and on the Advisory Council to the Foundation for Development Cooperation.
