AESC Events

Refund/Cancellation Policy 

Virtual events 

All registrations are final and substitutions do not apply.

In-Person Events

Cancellations on or before 60 days prior to the initial event date will receive a 50% refund. Cancellation requests received after 60 days prior to the initial event date are nonrefundable. No-shows forfeit the entire registration fee. There will be no exceptions. Substitutions can be made at any time prior to the event. Please send all requests to info@aesc.org

Event Cancellation/Postponement

AESC reserves the exclusive right to modify, postpone/reschedule or cancel programs for any reason, including but not limited to emergency, inclement weather or other 'acts of God'. If there is an event cancellation, every attempt will be made to reschedule, and registration fees will be applied to the rescheduled event date. Any travel, lodging, or incidental expenses incurred related to a canceled event cannot be refunded under any circumstances. If a canceled event cannot be rescheduled, AESC will issue a full refund.

Photograph and Video Release

By registering for this AESC event, you provide consent that AESC has the right to take photographs, videotape or digital recordings of you to use in any and all media, now and in the future, for marketing purposes.

Members-only Event 

For an AESC Members-only event, AESC reserves the right to cancel registration for nonmember registrants. AESC will issue a refund if applicable. 

Third Party Disclaimer 

AESC is not responsible for the actions or the information or actions of any third party that may be part of the contents or promotions of this event. Under no circumstances will AESC be held responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any loss or damage that is caused or alleged to have been caused to you in connection with your use of any advice, goods or services you receive from a guest speaker, attendee, or partner at an AESC event.

All AESC Education Programs must be paid in full before attending.

EXECUTIVE RESEARCH WORKSHOP SERIES

Intellectual Property

AESC retains copyright and all other legal rights to the Executive Research Workshop Series including all intellectual property rights embodied in the services. 

Each seat provided is allocated to one individual only and may not be internally nor externally downloaded, reproduced, or distributed by any means.

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations and refunds are not permitted.

Transfers

Before a single workshop or a bundle registration begins, transfers or substitutions from the same firm are permitted with observance of and approval by eligibility qualifications. Requests must be made at least 5 business days prior to the workshop date—pending extreme circumstances. Transfers do not incur a charge.

Protocol

All requests and inquiries must be made in writing and addressed to AESC Education at education@aesc.org.

AESC MASTER CLASS (in person) 

Each seat provided is allocated to one individual only and materials provided may not be internally nor externally reproduced, or distributed by any means.

Master Class Cancellation/Postponement

ADVANCED CERTIFICATE IN EXECUTIVE TALENT

Intellectual Property

Cornell University retains copyright and all other legal rights to both the Advanced Certificate in Executive Talent including all intellectual property rights embodied in the services as delivered by AESC.

Each seat provided is allocated to one individual only and may not be internally nor externally downloaded, reproduced, or distributed by any means.

Cancellations

Cancellations received on or before 90 days prior to the 1st of the month of the course start date receive a refund subject to a $100 USD service fee.

Cancellations received within 90 days prior to the 1st of the month of the course start date receive a refund subject to a 50% charge fee.

Refunds are not permitted after the course start date.

Transfers

Transfers or substitutions from the same firm are permitted with observance of and approval by eligibility qualifications. Requests must be made at least 30 days prior to the course start date—pending extreme circumstances. Requests must be made to education@aesc.org.

Transfers or substitutions do not incur a charge.

Protocol

AESC CLIENT ADVISOR MASTERCLASS SERIES BY ANDREW SOBEL

CERTIFICATE IN EXECUTIVE RESEARCH

Intellectual Property

AESC retains copyright and all other legal rights to the Certificate in Executive Research Foundation Course, Expert Forums and Final Exam including all intellectual property rights embodied in the services.  

Each seat provided is allocated to one individual only and may not be internally nor externally downloaded, reproduced, or distributed by any means.

Program Duration/Period

Participants are permitted one year from the registration date to complete the program.

If you do not complete within the designated period, you may request an extension of 60 days with an additional fee of $45 USD.

If you do not complete within the extension period, you may request a reactivation of 6 months with an additional fee of $250 USD.

Cancellations

Cancellations received within 15 days of the registration date receive a refund subject to a $45 USD service fee.

Cancellations and refunds are not permitted once the student has acquired access to the Foundation Course or has participated in any part of the Expert Forum, unless the student can demonstrate exceptional circumstances.

Transfers

Transfers or substitutions can only apply to individuals within the same firm or organization under the condition that the student has not acquired access to the Foundation Course nor has participated in any part of the Expert Forum. The transfer or substitution must occur within the calendar year of payment and is subject to approval by AESC.

Transfers or substitutions do not incur a charge.

Exam and Fees

Failure to be present, reschedule, or cancel your Final Examination appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice--pending exceptional circumstances—will be subject to a $125 USD fee.

Failure to pass the Final Examination on the first attempt will result in being granted one more attempt to re-sit the examination subject to a $125 USD fee.

Failure to pass the Final Examination on both attempts will result in ineligibility to receive a certificate.

Effective Interviewing® E-Learning

Intellectual Property

Interview Edge retains copyright and all other legal rights including all intellectual property rights embodied in the services to Effective Interviewing® E-learning as delivered by AESC. Each seat provided is allocated to one individual only and may not be internally nor externally downloaded, reproduced, or distributed by any means.

Interview Edge retains the right to determine the eligibility of enrollment in observance of their respective policy. In these cases, the participant will receive a refund.

Program Duration/Period

Upon receiving access to content, participants have 7 days allotted to complete the program.

A year from your start date is allotted for access to the HirePath® Interview Tools.
