Stanton Chase: Results from 2017 Global Industrial Executive Survey

Stanton Chase has published their fourth annual 2017 Global Industrial Executive Survey. Stanton Chase surveyed nearly 550 executives who all place great importance on the fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.0) from a variety of functional areas, industry sectors, and geographic regions. 

Survey results include:

  • The top two challenges to implementing Industry 4.0 in organizations are identified as a lack of understanding of complexity and a lack of knowledge about Industry 4.0.
  • 65.5% of respondents feel either optimistic or very optimistic for their economic and business growth in 2017.
  • Engineering, Sales & Marketing, and General Management are seen as the top 3 functions respondents view as having the greatest talent shortage.
