Over the last year, governments across Asia have been taking large steps toward managing climate change. More and more investors and asset owners in Asia are placing a focus on sustainability when making portfolio allocation decisions.

Russell Reynolds gives a snapshot of financial services sustainability leaders in APAC. It is highlighted that 49% of APAC financial services sustainability leaders are female. 

The team at RRA found that there are three overarching themes for top sustainability leaders across FS organizations headquartered in APAC:

• Few sit in the C-suite
• Most come from a finance, risk and reporting background (unlike their global counterparts)
• Almost half are female
