New Regional Managing Director Joins AESC

Sarah Mortimer brings more than 15 years of experience as a business leader to her new role as the AESC Region Managing Director in APAC

The Association of Executive Search and Leadership Consultants (AESC) announced the appointment of Sarah Mortimer to the position of Regional Managing Director for APAC, effective immediately.  

Grace Cheng, Russell Reynolds Associates – Greater China, AESC Board member and Chair of the AESC APAC Council, said, “As a member of the selection committee for the AESC APAC Region Managing Director, I know firsthand the strengths that Sarah brings to this role. We looked for the right candidate for this role across the entire APAC region before finding the right leader. On behalf of the entire selection committee and the APAC Council, I’m pleased to welcome Sarah.” 

Sarah is an experienced business leader who has spent years building relationships across APAC through several high-level positions. Sarah specializes in leadership, client experience and engagement, sales and service, project management, and operations. She will report directly to AESC President and CEO Karen Greenbaum and will serve on the AESC leadership team.

As AESC Regional Managing Director for APAC, Sarah will lead the association’s efforts in the Asia Pacific region. Working with the team, Sarah will represent AESC and lead engagement with current AESC members in the region, identify and recruit prospective new members, build professional development programs, and direct signature events.

Sarah brings more than 15 years of experience building relationships across APAC. Prior to joining AESC, Sarah served clients as a Senior Director of Professional Services, APAC, with Miller Heiman, a leading sales and service enablement firm, and then as the APAC Head of Client Success and Advocacy for a global talent and leadership consulting firm after their acquisition of Miller Heiman. Throughout her career, Sarah has provided high-level organizational expertise with a client-centric and client-success focus to empower growth, retention, and advocacy.  

“I'm looking forward to partnering with the AESC team, the APAC Regional Council and, with AESC’s members in the APAC region to develop further the region and the profession, to expand awareness, raise visibility across APAC, and embed the quality and standards the association is renowned for globally,” said Sarah. “My aim, with a focus on value realization, is for all member interactions (both prospective and current) to be collaborative, effective and provide a premium member experience."
