WittKieffer’s Healthcare Practice Adds Consultant Luke Morris

Executive search firm Witt/Kieffer announced that healthcare recruiter Luke Morris has joined the firm as a consultant in its Healthcare Practice. Based out of the firm’s Irvine, California, office, Morris brings to the position over 14 years of experience as an executive recruiter and talent leader in the healthcare industry, most recently as the Assistant Vice President for Talent for Intermountain Healthcare. His specialties include recruiting and retention, organizational change and alignment, improving processes and engaging employees and senior leadership.

At Intermountain in Salt Lake City, Utah, Morris oversaw talent for the system and led a transformational redesign of talent acquisition across the organization that resulted in vastly improved recruitment metrics and cost savings. In addition, he successfully spearheaded a multidisciplinary team in creating the organization's workforce planning model, competencies and tools. Prior to that role, Morris was Regional Human Resources Director for Intermountain in Provo, Utah, where he oversaw HR for seven hospitals. He is passionate about community involvement and has served as a mentor, advisor and board member for various civic organizations.

Morris’ appointment was announced by Paul W. H. Bohne and Donna M. Padilla, managing partners and leaders of WittKieffer’s Healthcare Practice. “Luke has an impressive history of organizational success through talent acquisition and leadership placements,” said Bohne. “As healthcare continues to undergo disruption, Luke’s extensive industry experience grants him the ability to identify executive leaders capable of providing stability in the changing landscape.” Added Padilla, “Luke is an excellent addition to our practice and to our firm. He has a first-hand understanding of what the industry requires in its move towards value-based care and knows how to facilitate success for our clients.”

Morris holds an Associate of Science in Engineering from Utah Valley State College in Orem, Utah, as well as a B.S. in Business Management and a Master's of Public Administration from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
