Talengo Appoints Rosa Garcia-Tizon

Talengo, the global executive search and leadership consultant firm, has named Rosa García-Tizón as Director of the Healthcare Practice. 

 

Rosa García-Tizón began her professional career in the healthcare sector, where she occupied different positions in Abbott’s Hospital and Pharmaceutical divisions. In 2005 she led the business and human resources strategy for the Hospira project, the first spin-off from Abbott. In the course of the following years she managed different areas until arriving at Hospira Operations and Legal management for Spain and Portugal.

 

As Director of the Healthcare Practice, she brings Talengo a professional career spanning more than 20 years, with experience notable for its cross-area character. She has worked in the areas of sales, marketing, human resources, operations, legal, institutional relations and business development. In addition to this experience, she is also a board member of listed and privately held companies.  All of this gives her a privileged strategic vision in recruitment processes for board members, top management, and advising for boards in pharmaceutical, healthcare technology and medical devices companies, biotechnology firms, hospitals and insurance companies.

 

She holds a degree in law and postgraduate titles in specialties such as General Management (PDG), Human Resources, Life Sciences & Healthcare Technology and Corporate Governance from some of the most prestigious institutions of learning, whether in Spain (IESE, IE) or internationally (Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, Chicago). Rosa combines her professional work with teaching in different business schools and is a regular columnist in specialised publications.
