Sheffield Haworth Announces the Appointment of Wendy Schmidt as Senior Advisor to the Consulting, Technology and Services Practice

Sheffield Haworth is delighted to welcome Wendy Schmidt, former Principal at Deloitte, as a Senior Advisor to the Consulting, Technology and Services Practice.

In her role, Wendy will work closely with Thierry Camerlynck and the team on the development and growth of the US Professional Services practice. The practice has a market leading retained executive search offering for the Forensic & Litigation Consulting and White Collar & Government Investigations Private Practice sectors.

Wendy is a former Principal of Deloitte, where she led the global Business Intelligence Services practice until her retirement in June 2017. A former litigator, Wendy has over 30 years of experience specializing in the development of background information and intelligence for commercial and government clients, in the context of due diligence, fraud, government investigations, and litigation support. Her clients at Deloitte included international and domestic law firms, corporations, financial institutions and government agencies.

Wendy was also one of the national and global leaders of Deloitte’s Women’s Initiative Network, responsible for the development and oversight of programs aimed at the retention, promotion and recruitment of women. She also serves on the board of the New York City chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and is a former board member of the National Association of Women Lawyers. Wendy will continue to promote and support the advancement of Diversity, Equality and Inclusion as a Senior Advisor at Sheffield Haworth.
