Pedro Irujo, New Director of Digital Business and Technology at Talengo
Pedro Irujo joined Talengo in 2020 as Head of the Digital and Technology practice of the firm.
Talengo, a global executive search and leadership consulting firm, has appointed Pedro Irujo as new director of the Digital Business and Technology area. With its incorporation, the company wants to reinforce a critical practice that is experiencing a strong demand and in which it accompanies its clients to successfully translate its digital transformation processes into a leadership key, both in consulting projects and in the search for managers.
Irujo is an expert in digital business and technology. He has a degree in Economics from the University of Navarra, an MBA from the IE, a PDG from the IESE and is certified by the ICA in the Corporate Governance Program.
He has a long history in strategic and technological consulting, business transformation and corporate innovation. He began his professional career in the Telecom & Media sector at PwC and later EY. In 2005 he joined NEORIS (Cemex Group), where he held different management positions until 2015, which is appointed Vice President for EMEA. Pedro was a founding member and advisor of Cemex Ventures, a corporate venture capital and open innovation company of the group, focused on investment in disruptive startups.
Adaptation to the new economy is a process in which all the big companies are immersed but not always successfully. One of the points of friction is the need to focus the transformation strategy appropriately and have the leaders who know how to direct this process and align their team. Talengo has its own transformation model that has been successfully implemented in numerous companies and is also one of the main references in the market in search of senior management.
