Michelle Johnson Joins the Witt/Kieffer Healthcare Practice

Executive search firm Witt/Kieffer announced that Michelle Johnson has joined the firm as a principal in its Healthcare Practice. Based in the Minneapolis area, Johnson brings to the position more than 15 years of experience as a strategic advisor to the healthcare industry. Her specialties include helping community-based health systems, academic medical centers, specialty hospitals and other healthcare organizations to identify executives and align leadership strategies with their missions, visions and values.

Most recently, Johnson was a principal with the Executive Workforce Practice of SullivanCotter. In this role, she provided strategic counsel to CEOs, HR leaders and boards on compensation, talent planning and other topics aimed at securing and retaining exceptional talent and positioning organizations for success. Prior to this, Johnson was a consultant with management consulting firm Gallagher Integrated. She is an active member of the American Association of University Women, which promotes equity and education for women and girls, and formerly served as a board member for the Central Minnesota Sustainability Project.

Johnson’s appointment was announced by Paul W. H. Bohne and Donna M. Padilla, managing partners and leaders of Witt/Kieffer’s Healthcare Practice. “Michelle’s broad expertise in areas ranging from executive performance to succession planning is impressive,” said Bohne. “She understands the components of strong leadership and will be a tremendous asset to Witt/Kieffer and our clients.” Added Padilla, “Healthcare today is complex and Michelle has seen it from many angles. This will serve her well as she identifies executives who will succeed in a very challenging environment."

Johnson holds a B.A. in Political Science from the College of St. Benedict | St. John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota.
