Johnson Partners Appoints New Partner

Johnson Partners is delighted to welcome Jonathan Harvey as Partner and leader of the firm’s CEO Succession and Leadership Advisory Practice.

Jonathan will augment the firm’s capability in respect of CEO and broader succession and assessment and extends our service offering to include the development of C-suite executives.

Jonathan brings over 30 years of international experience to clients in managing CEO and senior leadership succession, as a trusted advisor to Board Chairs and CEOs, and in assessing, coaching and developing senior leaders and their teams.

Prior to Johnson Partners, Jonathan was Managing Director – Asia Pacific and Global Assessment Lead for Pelham Street, an international leadership advisory firm. Whilst at Pelham Street, Jonathan led assignments for clients in the UK, Europe, North America, Asia, Australia and the Pacific, across a range of industries including Banking and Finance, Big Pharma, Asset Management, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Consumer Retail and Mining.

Before joining Pelham Street, Jonathan was a senior Human Resources executive. His most recent role was Managing Director and Global Head of Talent and Culture for Barclays PLC, where he advised the Board, Chief Executive and senior executive team on leadership succession and culture. Prior to this Jonathan held a similar position at ANZ Banking Group in Australia.

He is a recognised thought leader and has published numerous articles including on topics of CEO succession, shaping culture, and development of key talent. He has been a keynote speaker at numerous conferences, including at the annual Culture Conference of the New York Federal Reserve Bank.

Jonathan has an MBA from Melbourne Business School and a Bachelor of Laws from Deakin University. He is also a certified executive coach (Meyler Campbell Mastered Coaching Program UK) and is Hogan Assessment certified.
