Heidrick & Struggles Grows Consumer Markets Team with Addition of Former CEO

Heidrick & Struggles enhances its consumer, digital and marketing expertise with the addition of Luis DeAnda to the firm. He will be based in the Los Angeles office.

Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, DeAnda was the President and CEO of TBWA\Chiat\Day, a leading advertising agency where he was responsible for establishing and modernizing the agency's strategic vision, as well as restructuring and managing the Los Angeles office. His career with the global TBWA organization spanned more than 14 years, including three years as Chief Operating Officer of its Tokyo unit and a stint at Media Arts Lab, the unit formed to serve the global Apple account. During his tenure at TBWA, DeAnda managed accounts for clients such as Apple, P&G, Sprint, Haagen Dazs, Adidas and Nissan.

Before joining TBWA, DeAnda held roles at several advertising agencies in Los Angeles, including Rubin Postaer & Associates and Publicis.

DeAnda earned a B.S. in advertising at San Jose State University, where he graduated cum laude.
