Coulter Partners Consolidates Global Team

Global Life Sciences search specialist, Coulter Partners is pleased to announce seven new appointments in the US, Switzerland, Germany and at their London headquarters, following an extremely successful year which has seen sales grow by 16%. Nona Footz joins as Client Partner and Samantha Simonnet as Director on the US West Coast, while Jean Kim is appointed Associate Director in New York and Marie-Garance Leroy, Senior Consultant in Zurich. Samantha Ng is appointed Senior Production Associate in London, Patrick Williams is Production Associate in Boston and Jodie Gadd joins the Frankfurt team as Research Associate.

Nona Footz, Client Partner Nona joins as lead on global business development, board and C-suite executive search delivery across the spectrum of Life Sciences, with an emphasis on board governance, succession planning, commercial and general management roles. She brings over 14 years of sourcing experience gained working with emerging and established companies in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Medical Device and Professional Services sectors. Nona draws on an extensive track record, spearheading the Life Science practice at RSR Partners and prior to this as Client Partner for Korn Ferry’s Global Human Resources and Life Science Practices in New York, Princeton and Chicago. Her previous tenure was with a global human capital consulting firm, where she was responsible for leadership development for clients in Life Sciences and Financial Services across the US. Nona holds a BA in English from the University of Calgary and a Master’s degree in Science, Leadership and Strategic Management from Manhattanville College, New York. A native of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Nona is also adjunct professor at New York University where she teaches Human Resources.

Samantha Simonnet, Director
Samantha will focus on C-suite and senior level US and global executive search with an emphasis on Biotech, Cleantech and where the two intersect. She brings over 15 years’ extensive experience of executive search, talent acquisition and TA operations for early stage through to large multi-national corporations across the US, Europe and APAC, gained with bioengineering company, Intrexon, with cancer companion diagnostics firm, Epic Sciences and with life sciences leader Life Technologies, now Thermo Fisher. Samantha’s varied sector experience includes Bioengineering, Synthetic and Molecular Biology, Biofuels, Genomics, Food Technology, Bioinformatics, R&D, Clinical Operations. Bilingual in English and French, Samantha has an MBA from the University of Surrey and a BA in English/Portuguese and Business Administration from the University of Toulouse II, France.
 
Jean Kim, Associate Director
Jean’s focus will be on senior level US and global executive search with an emphasis on Clinical Development and Operations, Data Science Technology and Pharmacovigilance. She brings over 20 years’ broad experience of executive search across Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Medical Devices and Healthcare Services, from early stage, to large global companies, as well as the investor community. This has included 18 years in global pharmaceutical recruiting, most recently with global consultants, InVentiv Health, formerly Smith Hanley Associates and in strategic search for AlphaKAP. Jean holds a Master’s in Public Administration from Harvard University, MA and a BA in Social Science from the University of California at Berkeley.
 
Marie-Garance Leroy, Senior Consultant
Garance will work on senior level international executive search with an emphasis on Pharmaceutical Technical Operations. She draws on over 10 years of talent sourcing experience gained both in house with Roche talent acquisition and in retained international executive search, encompassing Quality, Manufacturing, Technical Regulatory, Supply Chain, Contract Manufacturing, Operational Excellence and Engineering. With additional search expertise in the Chemical industry, Garance worked previously in contract law and international commercial arbitration. A French national with fluent English, she holds a Masters in European Law from the College of Europe, Bruges, a Masters in International Commercial Law from the Université de Tours and a BA in Law and Translational Studies from the Université de Paris-Sud and ISIT, Paris.
 
Samantha Ng, Senior Production Associate
Samantha will undertake senior level international search assignments with a broad focus to include commercial, scientific and enabling functions. She brings over 11 years of talent sourcing experience, gained both with international search firms and in house at Eisai and Astra Zeneca, A substantial track record includes roles in R&D, Manufacturing, Finance, HR, Communications, Legal, Risk and Compliance across a variety of sectors and geographies including EMEA and APAC. Samantha has a BA in Marketing & Management from Middlesex University, London.
 
Patrick Williams, Production Associate
Patrick’s responsibility will be the execution of board and senior level executive search with a broad Life Science focus, encompassing commercial, technical and scientific roles. He joins Coulter Partners with over 5 years of executive search experience at Winter Wyman and NRS Global Partners across a range of sectors and majoring in HR and Technology. Patrick has a BA in Global Studies with Business from Assumption College, Worcester, MA.
 
Jodie Gadd, Research Associate
Jodie will focus on senior executive research assignments with an emphasis on the DACH region and Medical Technology, working from the Frankfurt office. A British national with fluent German, Jodie recently graduated with a triple accredited BA in Journalism from the University of Sheffield.
