Boyden Appoints Jim Henry as Managing Partner in California

Leadership expert to steward board and C-suite assignments in healthcare, life sciences and technology

Boyden, a leadership and talent advisory firm with more than 65 offices in over 40 countries, announced that Jim Henry has joined the firm as a Managing Partner in California.

Henry joins Boyden from PwC with a distinguished track record in board and C-suite talent strategy and succession, working with a broad range of publicly traded and private clients on a variety of financial and operational engagements.

Most recently, Henry served as Managing Partner of PwC’s San Francisco office, where he led the doubling of the firm’s business, and was responsible for talent development and key client relationships in the Bay Area. Earlier, Henry served as Vice Chair – Industries & Sectors, and led PwC’s Health Industries Practice, where he built the firm’s consulting business as an industry leader and formed its Health Research Institute.

Henry holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from San Diego State University and has completed board governance programs at UCLA and Stanford University. He is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors, and serves on several boards and community organizations including the Bay Area Council, UCSF’s Global Health Group, San Francisco Symphony and Larkin Street Youth Services.
