Amrop welcomes five Consultants to its global team of Executive Search and Leadership Services professionals.

Janine Dacon’s recruitment experience spans C-suite and senior engineering and technical hires in Power Generation, Mineral Processing and Mining, Media and Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical and Healthcare. Prior to joining the Executive Search industry, she spent 12 years in IT solutions and Management Consulting. Janine also co-founded a manufacturing company, applying her entrepreneurial bent to a highly competitive sector that has helped grow the company into a strong market player with exponential growth. Of Swiss birth, and having immigrated to South Africa, Janine has worked on projects in Sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East. At Amrop, Janine focuses on the Healthcare and Industrial sectors.

 

Lanre Fisher heads Amrop’s Financial Services Practice in Sub-Saharan Africa. He is responsible for providing advisory and senior level recruitment for Investment Banking and Private Equity clients, as well as Banking and Insurance. Lanre was previously based in the UK where he spent 10 years working with financial services clients in the UK and central Europe. He also continues to work with companies with an investment and growth agenda in Africa to identify Africans in the diaspora as well as local talent. Lanre’s executive search experience spans a variety of sectors and functional areas, and he has built particular expertise in managing complex and highly sensitive international search mandates.

 

Sebastián Reyes has more than twenty years of experience in the FMCG sector, where he held a number of senior leadership positions for Unilever in local, regional and global roles, including Vice President, Unilever River Plate, as Marketing Director for the Home Care Division; Vice President, Laundry Category for Latin America; and Vice President Unilever Brazil as General Manager for the Ice Cream Business (ex-Kibon). His last position in Unilever was Senior Vice President in the Americas Business Group, as SVP of Marketing Operations. Since 2011, Sebastián has acted as a Business Advisor for a wide range of industries, including FMCG, wholesale, retail, mining and agribusiness.

 

Willem Ledeboer started his career in banking at ABN AMRO, where he held management positions in Commercial and Wholesale Banking. He then moved to ABN AMRO Brussels as Head of Integrated Energy, Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals, later returning to the Netherlands as Regional Director Rotterdam for Fortis Commercial Banking and then General Manager Commercial Banking for The Netherlands, Scandinavia and China. Prior to joining Amrop he was CEO of ProDelta, a family owned

company in Logistics, Real Estate and Private Equity. Willem is a member of Amrop’s global Financial Services Practice, focused on Banking, Asset Management, Insurance, Private Equity and FinTech. He also sits on the boards of a number of companies.

 

Sandy McKenzie heads the Industrials and Infrastructure practices of Amrop UK. Sandy has strong UK & international experience advising Boards & HR, working with clients across the Aerospace & Defense, Automotive and Construction sectors. He has worked on a number of the UK’s largest infrastructure programs in Transport, Defense, Nuclear and Renewable Energy, recruiting functional heads and leadership teams at Director and Board level. Sandy has additionally recruited for NEDs, Independent Panels and advisors. Prior to joining Amrop, Sandy spent 8 years as a Senior Partner and Head of Aerospace & Defense and Transport & Infrastructure at a boutique executive search and advisory business.
