Heidrick & Struggles posts 10% rise in Q3 Financial Results

International executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles has posted a 10% net revenue increase to US$138.4m (£90.2m) from $125.8m (£82.3m) a year ago.

Its largest division, executive search and leadership consulting, saw net revenue increase by 11.9% year-on-year to $129.2m. This increase was driven by a 20.4% increase in the Americas to $78.3m. The Asia-Pacific region also performed well, with net revenue increasing by 7.4%. Revenue in Europe declined 4.6 percent compared to last year's third quarter, but increased 7.5 percent on a constant currency basis.

The global technology & services, healthcare & life sciences and financial services practices were the primary drivers of year-on-year growth in the executive search and leadership consulting division.

The company ended the third quarter with 334 Executive Search and Leadership Consulting consultants compared to 311 at September 30, 2014 and 325 at June 30, 2015. Productivity, as measured by annualized Executive Search and Leadership Consulting net revenue per consultant, was $1.6 million in the 2015 third quarter, compared to $1.5 million in the 2014 third quarter.
