Stanton Chase Announces Two New Global Sector Leaders

Two new Global Sector Leaders have been appointed to subsectors of Stanton Chase’s Consumer Products and Services Global Practice Group.

Rose Hindy, Consumer Products and Services Principal, Partner, and Executive Coach at Stanton Chase Dubai, now leads the firm’s Media and Communications Sector, a subsector of Stanton Chase’s Consumer Products and Services Global Practice Group.

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, many sectors suffered significant disruptions, but the Media and Communications sector continued to grow as people turned to entertainment for comfort. In this sector, you’ll find print and digital publishing, broadcasting, advertising and public relations companies, marketing and promotional services, and design-driven specialist consultancies.

Rose Hindy takes over this sector just as global media and communications revenues reach $2.3 trillion.

Rose is an experienced leader in this sector and has been a TV Host/Producer for Al Aan TV‘s Tawasal Show since 2018. An Aan TV is a reputable and renowned Pan-Arab TV channel. The show aims to gain insight into the media and communication industry by hosting leading figures.

Previously, Rose worked as an Audience and Consumer Insights Analyst and Media and Research Consultant for a global publication and online networking community. She has also served as a Regional Research Director for a global, multi-award-winning media agency.

Rose’s extensive career coaching experience combined with her practical industry experience positions her as a key player in Media and Communications Executive Search and Leadership Assessment. Not only does Rose have the technical skills to find and shape media and communications leaders, but she also has a deep understanding of the industry. She has been a career consultant and executive coach to many influential media and communications decision-makers.

Additionally, Rose was named one of Disruptors Magazine’s Top 30 Unstoppable Women Entrepreneurs of 2022. The magazine made note of her entrepreneurial spirit, straightforward no-nonsense approach, and genial manner.

“There is no one more passionate about Media and Communications than I am,” Rose said. “I am grateful for the opportunity to lead this sector. There has never been a better time than now to invest in effective Media and Communications leadership.”

Emily Plahanski, a Stanton Chase US Mid-Atlantic Director, is now heading the firm’s E-Commerce and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Sector, a subsector of Stanton Chase’s Consumer Products and Services Global Practice Group.

As e-commerce and direct-to-consumer markets continue to grow, so does the need for capable leaders in this sector. The number of online retailers has increased to more than 12 million, and retail e-commerce sales are expected to reach $7.4 trillion by 2025. The right leadership is pivotal to a successful e-commerce and direct-to-consumer business.

The depth and breadth of Emily Plahanski’s knowledge and experience make her an ideal leader for this emerging field. Due to her propensity for disrupting the traditional methods of attracting and retaining top talent, she is an ideal candidate for leading Executive Search and Leadership Assessments in a market known for embracing new approaches.

Previously, Emily served as Director and Managing Director of several notable US-based companies. Currently, she serves as an appointed member of Executive Alliance, a catalyst for advocacy, education, and mentorship of women leaders. Emily has also served on the Howard County YPN Board of Directors’ Steering Committee, and she was previously named one of Howard County’s Finest 39 under 39. In addition to these achievements, Emily has over a decade of professional search consulting and leadership experience.

Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Marketing from St. John Fisher College, Bittner School of Business, which is an accredited member of AACSB International – The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Emily also holds two advanced certificates from Cornell University’s Industrial and Labor Relations School (ranked as one of Forbes’ top Ivy League schools) in Executive Talent, Leadership, and Culture.

“It is an honor to lead this sector,” Emily said. “E-commerce and direct-to-consumer brands are booming as we experience a massive consumer shift to digital channels, and the industry will continue to grow exponentially. It is an exciting time to take the lead.”

“We are happy to announce Rose and Emily’s appointments,” Milos Tucakovic, Global Practice Leader of Stanton Chase’s Consumer Products and Services Practice, said. “They are world-class appointments. We are excited to see both sectors grow and flourish under their leadership. Furthermore, I would like to thank Jeff Perkins, whom Rose Hindy is succeeding, for the amazing work he did in the Media and Communications sector.”
