CFO Searches Taking Longer Than Five Years Ago, According to More than One-Third of AESC Members

In January the Association of Executive Search and Leadership Consultants (AESC) collaborated with the Wall Street Journal to survey 39 executive search firms specializing in the search for CFOs in the United States. The research revealed that, on average, CFO searches take longer than the average search duration across all functions and that over one-third of respondents feel that the search for CFOs takes longer now than it did five years ago.
