Title: Judgment Day: Why the Future of APAC Leadership Belongs to Human Insight

Summary:

As AI adoption accelerates globally and across APAC, organizations are rethinking what human value looks like at work. In this session, Tina Shah Paikeday will explore how the workforce is evolving beyond knowledge work toward “judgement work,” where critical thinking, discernment, trust, and AI fluency become key differentiators for leaders and employees alike.

Drawing on executive interviews, talent intelligence insights, and global future-of-work trends tailored to the APAC market, the discussion will examine both the target skills leaders must prioritize in this new environment and the current levels of preparedness amongst CHROs and business leaders in the region.

The session will also examine the practical application of AI and talent intelligence in executive search, including how firms can harness AI to assess future-ready leadership capabilities and source high-quality talent.

Speaker from Findem: Tina Shah Paikeday – General Manager and Senior Advisor for Responsible AI.

Bio:

Tina Shah Paikeday is a General Manager and Senior Advisor for Responsible AI at Findem, an AI platform for better talent decisions. She is a practitioner-scholar whose career spans general management, entrepreneurship, and executive advisory — unified by a commitment to making organizations more effective, equitable, and evidence-based. Tina has founded and led companies, built and scaled global practices with full P&L responsibility, and advised C-suite executives across Fortune 500 enterprises, high-growth private companies, and investment firms.

As CEO and Board Chair of zBox (acquired by Whirlpool), she built and led a 40-person organization, secured Series A through C financing, and forged partnerships with Amazon, GE, Sears, and the United States Postal Service. As Global Head of DEI Advisory at Russell Reynolds Associates, she grew a practice from zero to multi-million in revenue and scaled it across 100 global practitioners. In her current role at Findem, she advises AI governance, and executive education initiatives and related partner product innovations.

Tina’s scholarly research investigates how artificial intelligence can interrupt cognitive bias in high-stakes talent decisions with initial theory published in the California Management Review and presented at TEDx. She is completing her PhD in Executive Management at the Drucker School of Management at Claremont Graduate University. She has guest lectured at Stanford GSB, UC Berkeley Haas, University of Virginia, and Cornell’s Association of Executive Search Consultants program, and has co-authored leadership cases on Ford, Motorola, Nike, and others. A bridge between theory and practice, she teaches executives and students alike on AI, leadership, decision-making, and organizational dynamics.
