Acertitude announced today that Rose Boynton, CPA, is promoted to vice president of finance and corporate controller, effective immediately. She will continue her role as chief financial officer of sister firm O’Neill Consulting (“OC”), an Acertitude company.
As Acertitude’s finance leader, Rose will oversee all financial activity as the firm continues its strong growth trajectory in the U.S., Europe, and internationally. Her purview spans the full range of accounting processes, financial planning and strategy, forecasting, reporting, budget development, ERP systems, and more.
Kevin O’Neill, founder and managing partner of both Acertitude and O’Neill Consulting states,
“As we continue to expand rapidly, strategically, and globally, Rose’s global finance expertise and leadership skills add tremendous value to the firm.”
O'Neill also recalls:
“Over her years with OC, she has not only helped shape our strategic direction and enabled its execution — but has also been a great business partner to the leadership team and me personally. We look forward to seeing her shine in this broader role.”
In the five years leading up to her promotion, Rose held similar responsibilities in her role as OC’s financial officer. She also brings more than twenty years of progressive financial leadership experience, having held executive-level finance roles with diverse organizations and grounded her career in Big 4 accounting with PwC.
Rick DeRose, also founder and managing partner at Acertitude, added,
“We are thrilled to elevate Rose to this critical role on the team, as she brings extensive financial management experience with proven success guiding companies that are growing rapidly. In our global environment, Rose will serve as a great, strategic partner to the executive team. I am excited to see her continued high impact on the firm.”
Rose earned a B.S. in accounting and management information systems from Le Moyne College.
