Alan Kaplan, AESC Award of Excellence Recipient 2022
AESC’s Award of Excellence honors significant, outstanding contributions to our profession for individuals at the height of their careers. This award recognizes those who have made a remarkable contribution to their firm and the profession.
Alan Kaplan is a highly respected professional and he focuses on continuous learning. He is both a certified Director and Board Leadership Fellow with NACD, a Certified HoganAssessment analyst, and a Certified Predictive Index analyst. He also personally serves on boards including Clarifi–an organization focused on lifelong financial literacy; the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, and NACD’s Philadelphia Chapter. He also serves on the Board of Fischer-Shain Center for financial Services at Temple University Fox School of Business.
He is also a thought leader–as a frequent speaker on CEO and Board succession for financial institutions and middle-market companies, and he presents frequently at banking industry meetings. And he is proud of his commitment to diversity, with 80% of his placements since 2020 being women or people of color.
