Korn Ferry: Global Leadership Style Emerging
From new research out of the Korn Ferry Institute, this article looks at how leadership qualities championed are aligned across multiple regions and cultures. Results, ambition, and motivation ability are listed as examples of the things looked for around the world in their leaders. Korn Ferry surveyed more than 11,000 employees across the globe and, despite different cultures, achievement and empathy were noted as the most important leadership aspects, as well as good interpersonal skills.
This worldwide business culture is likely a result of globalization, including consultants and business schools from more developed nations doing more business in emerging countries as well as leaders from all nations attending programs in other parts of the world.
