Odgers Berndtson: The Right to Disconnect from Work

Odgers Berndtson looks at how the digital transformation is affecting the work/life balance with the abundance of devices that make it easier to be working and reachable outside the office. This year, France, for example, introduced a legislation which forced companies with over 50 employees to lay out plans to ensure their workers had the right to disconnect from their digital work tools, allowing them to ignore work communications past working hours and while on vacation.
