A study by Eric Salmon & Partners and European Women on Boards highlights the experiences of seasoned chairs from top European companies, offering insights into fostering inclusion and diversity.
It's noted that at least 40% of non-executive board positions or 33% of all director positions, including both executive and non-executive roles, must be held by women in listed companies by June 30, 2026, according to the European Union's Directive on Gender Balance in Corporate Boards.
"Companies with well-integrated female directors have been shown to experience superior stock returns and greater shareholder satisfaction."
