Signium Announces Two New Partners in Portugal

Signium is pleased to announce the appointment of two new Partners: Felipa Xara-Brasil and Joana Proença de Carvalho. The addition of these two Partners reinforces Signium's position in the Portuguese market, where both will lead projects in Executive Search and Leadership Services.
 
Based in Lisbon, Felipa and Joana will be responsible for developing business and leading projects in their respective practices. They seek to offer better service to both local companies and those with an international presence searching for leadership in the Portuguese market. Felipa and Joana joined Signium in June 2017
 
Felipa was one of the founders of Heidrick & Struggles in Portugal; responsible for the start-up of the office in Angola, the business development in Mozambique, and also managing the Lisbon office's Executive Search and Leadership Consulting projects. Felipa was a CFO in a TMT and Services Group, and has also been Financial Director of the Lisbon Oceanarium and the Multipurpose Pavilion; responsible from the start-up phase of construction until the delivery of the project and its operational management. She previously worked as a Controller at Danone International Brands and as Senior Associate at KPMG. She has a degree in Business Management from Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Felipa fluently speaks English, French, Spanish and Portuguese.
 
Joana began her career at Accenture as a Human Capital Consultant. Having joined Heidrick & Struggles in 2001, she was part of the team that developed and launched Leadership Services in Portugal and the SELA region (South Europe and Latin America). In 2006, she joined Brandia Central, a group of branding and communication companies, where she held executive positions; responsible for Human Resources and Support in Portugal, Angola and Brazil. From 2012 to 2015, she was Partner at Fesa, an executive search company in Brazil, where she launched consulting services, and led projects in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba, Porto Alegre, Brasilia and Belém. She has a degree in Business Management from ISCTE. Additionally, she is a Certified Coach by ICF. Joana fluently speaks English and Portuguese.
