Russell Reynolds Hires New Member to Strengthen their Industrial, Energy and Natural Resources Practices

Russell Reynolds Associates announced that Marc Baca has joined the firm as a member of its Industrial and Energy and Natural Resources Practices, with a specialization in Utilities. Based in Houston, Marc will be responsible for conducting C-suite executive and board searches for both public and private clients.

“Marc brings extensive experience and deep industry knowledge to our Industrial and Energy and Natural Resources Practices,” said Constantine Alexandrakis, leader of Russell Reynolds Associates’ U.S. business. “Houston’s status as a global energy center makes it imperative that we help our clients attract top talent to the region. Marc’s background in nuclear engineering and broad network of executives places him in a unique position to offer our clients strategic and forward-thinking counsel,” added Constantine.

Prior to joining the firm, Marc was a senior vice president at Advisian, the independent advisory arm of WorleyParsons, where he led business development in the E&P, LNG and power sectors in the United States. Prior to that, Marc spent 14 years at ExxonMobil, having held executive-level positions and assignments in Houston, Qatar and Angola. He began his career in the United States Navy as a nuclear submarine officer onboard the USS Boston fast attack submarine. 

Marc holds a B.S. in control systems engineering from the United States Naval Academy and an M.S. in engineering management from The George Washington University. Marc is a certified nuclear engineer.
