Russell Reynolds Associates Hires Chen Chen

Russell Reynolds Associates, a global search and leadership advisory firm, announced that Chen Chen has joined the firm as a consultant in the Consumer Practice. Based in Shanghai, Chen focuses on advising firms in the retail and consumer products industries as they identify, recruit and develop top talent.

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Chen was Director of Strategy and M&A and key member of the Regional Leadership Team at Avery Dennison North Asia. In this role, he was responsible for identifying and pursuing both organic and inorganic growth opportunities in the region. Earlier, Chen led the company’s Performance Tape business unit’s marketing function and was responsible for growing business in both the industrial and personal care categories for the region. Previously, he was a Business Development Director at BSH Home Appliances Group, based in Nanjing. Chen began his career with close to 10 years in the personal care FMCG space in China, responsible for strategy, M&A, marketing and communications functions at multinational corporations including SCA and Kimberly-Clark.

Chen holds a BA in international economics from the University of International Relations in Beijing, an MSc in media and communications from the London School of Economics and an MA in global communications management from the University of Southern California.
