RSR Partners Appoints Victor Arias, Jr. as Managing Director

RSR Partners, an executive search and leadership consulting firm, announced today the addition of Victor Arias, Jr. as Managing Director and senior member of the firm’s Board Recruiting Practice. In his new role, Mr. Arias will focus on recruiting board members and leveraging his deep expertise in the consumer and real estate sectors spanning the U.S. and Latin America.

“We are thrilled to welcome Victor to our firm, where he will enhance our ability to identify transformational leaders who will have significant impact on business outcomes in today’s challenging environment.”

“With continued investor activism and growing government oversight, now more than ever corporate boards must be more transparent when selecting board members. These new members should also reflect more of their companies’ respective demographic and consumer bases,” said Arias. “I look forward to working with the RSR Partners team and helping clients identify and attract the right leaders.”

Prior to joining RSR Partners, Mr. Arias was a board practice partner at other global executive search firms for more than 20 years. He most recently served as the global leader for the diversity and inclusion initiative at one of the firms. He has direct public company governance experience having served as a Non-Executive Director on the Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen board for 15 years until his retirement in 2016.

Mr. Arias earned his MBA from Stanford University and BBA from the University of Texas at El Paso. He is currently a trustee emeritus for the Stanford University Board of Trustees, chairman of the Stanford Latino Entrepreneurship Initiative and serves on the UTEP Development Board. In addition to his roles at his alma maters, Mr. Arias has co-founded several organizations including the National Society of Hispanic MBAs (now Prospanica) and the Latino Corporate Directors Association. He was also previously appointed to the White House Fellows Commission.
