Miriam Nelson, Ph.D. joins Korn Ferry Hay Group as Senior Client Partner

Korn Ferry announced that Miriam Nelson has joined the firm as Senior Client Partner. Dr. Nelson will serve as a core member in the firm’s fast-growing CXO Optimization Practice, an innovative solution that takes a portfolio approach to talent by leveraging the firm’s 40 years of executive search experience and leadership advisory expertise.

In her role, Dr. Nelson will guide Boards, CEOs and senior management to optimize their talent, particularly in core functions, through assessment, development, organization design, succession and retention strategies. Her clients include a variety of organizations across multiple industries, including the Fortune 100. She will be based in the New York office.

Prior to joining the firm, Dr. Nelson was a partner in Aon’s Hewitt’s Talent and Rewards Practice, working with leading organizations to improve the effectiveness of their talent. While at Aon, she led the firm’s customer service performance practice and, most recently, leadership development solutions in North America.

Dr. Nelson holds a Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Stevens Institute of Technology, a M.A. in Applied Psychology from Hofstra University and a B.A. in Psychology and B.S. in Business from American University.
