James O'Sullivan Boosts Executive Search and Healthcare Capabilities in Dallas

RSR Partners, an executive search, board recruiting, advisory, and leadership consulting firm, today announced that James O’Sullivan has joined the firm in Dallas. James strengthens the firm’s executive search capabilities locally and also amplifies the firm’s Healthcare and Life Sciences practice.

James joins RSR Partners from Baylor, Scott & White / Tenet Health where he most recently held the position of Director, HR Strategic & Business Services. In this role, he was a member of the executive leadership team for a 146-bed hospital, where he provided day-to-day leadership for the human resources team, including the oversight for employee engagement, recruitment, employee relations, and other strategic initiatives. Prior, James led executive recruitment activities and was directly responsible for the full life-cycle recruitment process for corporate, regional, and hospital executive leadership level positions. James has also counseled hospital leaders on performance management and leadership development, and played a key role in the transition of the 1,300 employees that were acquired by Baylor, Scott & White from Tenet Health in March 2018.

Prior to his move to Baylor, Scott & White in 2013, James spent eight years at Heidrick & Struggles in Dallas, with experience spanning the Consumer / Hospitality, Board of Directors, and Human Resource practices. James also has experience working with healthcare recruiter Merritt Hawkins & Associates and with DHR International, and spent additional time as an in-house recruiter and consultant at Safety Kleen Corporation. James earned his bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Notre Dame.
