Heidrick & Struggles (NASDAQ: HSII), a premier provider of executive search, leadership assessment and development, organization and team effectiveness, and culture shaping services globally, announced that Hnn-Hui Hii has joined Heidrick & Struggles as Partner in the firm's Industrial Practice, based in Singapore.

Hii has more than 23 years of professional working experience in engineering, management consulting and government, where he has led teams in strategy development, operational improvement programs, business development, drafting of development plans for government agencies, and in the past ten years, leadership assessment and succession planning work at the C-suite level.

"Hnn-Hui has a breadth of regional experience working across the industrial sector," said Stafford Bagot, Managing Partner of Heidrick & Struggles' Industrial Practice, Asia Pacific. "His deep understanding of the ASEAN market and experience advising large-scale organizations in leadership and management challenges will bring tremendous value to our clients."

Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, Hii served as the Managing Director of a boutique management consulting firm, focusing on strategy, leadership development and innovation advisory. He advised clients on a range of issues, from solar farm initiatives and waste-to-energy projects in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Vietnam. Prior to this, he worked at an international executive search firm as a principal, where he led client work in real estate, energy, telecommunications, private capital and family-owned business in Southeast Asia. Hii has advised on talent management and leadership challenges for owners, boards, CEOs, and HR teams, and has completed top-level searches for CEOs, CXOs and INEDs for companies in Asia undergoing transformation. Earlier in his career, Hii worked in a bespoke strategy consulting firm founded by a former McKinsey team, serving clients on transformation initiatives in the Southeast Asia region.

"Hnn-Hui's track record in business transformation will make him a powerful addition to both our clients and the firm. His expertise will complement our Heidrick consulting business in the region, and we are delighted to welcome him to our dynamic ASEAN team," said Dan Cullen, Partner-in-charge of Heidrick & Struggles' Singapore office.

Hii is known for his expertise on ASEAN talent. He has extensive experience assessing and developing senior executives for CEO and CXO succession planning, building a talent pipeline, and career pathing. He often provides human capital due diligence for private equity clients, advises on top management team quality and team effectiveness, and engages in pre-deal situations and post-deal integration work.

He serves as a mentor for Oxbridge Society and volunteers in youth leadership development, coaching and mentoring future leaders. Hii holds a PhD in Management of Technology & Innovation and an MPhil in Management Studies, both from the University of Cambridge as a Cambridge Commonwealth Trust Scholar. He also graduated with a Bachelors in Engineering (1st Hons.) from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology.
