Heidrick & Struggles Welcomes Bo Herbst

Heidrick & Struggles, a premier provider of executive search, leadership consulting and culture shaping services worldwide, has appointed Bo Herbst to lead its Industrial Practice worldwide as Global Practice Managing Partner.

"In this expanded role, Bo will lead Heidrick's global Industrial Practice in further enhancing our impact with clients, leveraging a global network of experienced consultants and complementary leadership services," said Krishnan Rajagopalan, Acting President and CEO, Heidrick & Struggles.

Herbst joined Heidrick & Struggles in 2000, and has led senior executive and board director searches within industrial and manufacturing sectors. He has helped clients across a broad spectrum of industries build effective leadership teams. Herbst was named Regional Practice Managing Partner for the firm's Industrial Practice in the Americas in 2013, a role that he will continue to hold while leading the practice globally.

"This is an exciting time for both the industrial sector and for our firm. Industrial manufacturing is undergoing a transformation with the integration of new technologies such as the Internet of Things, automation, artificial intelligence and robotics," Herbst said. "Heidrick & Struggles is well positioned to assist industrial clients at this crucial time with comprehensive solutions—including executive search, leadership consulting and culture shaping. We are helping our clients build world-class leadership teams and accelerate performance throughout their organizations."

Herbst holds an international MBA from Thunderbird, the American Graduate School of International Management, and a bachelor of arts from Trinity University.
