Heidrick & Struggles Adds New Partner in London

Heidrick & Struggles has appointed Marcus de Luca as a Partner in its Financial Services Practice.

Based in London, de Luca will lead the firm's European Infrastructure and Real Assets Practice, part of the Financial Services Practice. He will work with banks, advisers and investors who are pursuing financing and investment opportunities globally across the energy, utilities, resources, transport, telecommunications and social infrastructure sectors.

Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, de Luca was Partner, Global Financial Markets at another global search firm, establishing its private equity and infrastructure practice in Australasia, based in Melbourne. He brings more than 15 years of experience of leading senior-level searches in the European, North American, and Asia Pacific regions.

de Luca began his career as a lawyer in London specialising in corporate finance. He has worked in private practice and at a European bank before moving into executive search.

His appointment is the latest in the expansion of Heidrick & Struggles' global financial team following the recent arrival at Partner level of Florence Soulé de Lafont in Paris and Lisa Baird in New York.
