Diversity Action Committee to Launch Best Practices for Board Appointments

The Diversity Action Committee (DAC) has partnered with five major leading executive search firms - Egon Zehnder, Heidrick & Struggles, Korn Ferry, Russell Reynolds Associates and Spencer Stuart - to launch a set of best practices for board appointments and board diversity.

This initiative aims to raise awareness of the importance of board diversity and will define the best practices in search criteria and processes relating to board appointments in Singapore. The guidelines call on boards to consider widening their candidate pool. This means including more women, as well as candidates from emerging industries and areas of specialisation.
