Cribb Makes TBWA CEO Tobias Jung The Managing Director
The boutique consultancy recently again named one of the best headhunters in Germany for filling management positions in the context of change processes appoints ex-TBWA CEO Tobias Jung (42) as the third managing director. Jung, who will also become a partner at Cribb with effect from February 1, 2021, will in the future focus on holistic consulting for companies in the process of transformation.
“How do you target the behavior of people in companies to change? How do you carefully set people on a new path through appropriate communication and clear options for action? How do people develop their full potential in transformation processes? Both Tobias and us have been dealing with this for many years. Together with him, we now want to work intensively and purposefully on these important future questions in the interests of our customers and accompany them holistically in their change processes, ”says Dwight Cribb, founder of Cribb Personalberatung.
“The transformation of companies is highly complex: It takes a diversity of ideas to find solutions. We are very pleased to have won a management colleague who has accompanied companies through transformation processes and found exciting solutions. In Tobias, we have found someone who, through his vast experience, will not only help our customers to successfully shape their further development but also that of Cribb. But executive search always remains our core, ”adds Cribb's managing director Maren Freyberg.
“For many years I have been able to contribute enthusiastically to the successful transformation of companies. And now I have the great opportunity to support and work with several companies at the same time. Together with two such renowned consultants as Dwight Cribb and Maren Freyberg - and in the future even more bright minds - we are ideally positioned to offer customers from all industries real added value. Whether it's the diversity of teams, the organization of trusting cooperation, or the promotion of self-reliant systems in organizations - the future of these topics belongs to the smartest possible investment in personnel. I firmly believe in that. Be it appointing the right people from the outside or promoting them from within, in order to radically improve the system of the company as a whole.
Jung comes from the creative industry and most recently headed the holding of the German TBWA group as CEO. In this role, the internationally well-connected manager was responsible for the personnel and structural renewal of the TBWA Group, which consists of a large number of specialized agencies at four locations in Germany and several hundred employees. Until his statutory resignation, he was also responsible for the “People” board department within the GWA industry association and has since continued to support the association as a consultant in matters of diversity.
Jung took over the management of the TBWA \ Group Germany in January 2018, after having built up and managed the Hamburg office for many years as managing partner for the Berlin creative agency HEIMAT. In 2014, in the course of the sale, he also brought the agency into the network and internationalized it.
