Cejka Executive Search Proudly Partners with Yaffe & Company on The National Rural Hospital CEO Turnover Study

With the healthcare industry facing chronic talent shortages across all disciplines, yet another worrisome trend is surfacing: CEOs of rural/critical access hospitals are leaving their positions at an alarming rate.

As a top-ranked healthcare executive search firm, Cejka Executive Search understands that CEO turnover is negatively impacting the communities served by these rural healthcare organizations, more and more frequently resulting in limited access to, or even termination of, quality healthcare services.

Thus, we are proud to sponsor Yaffe & Company, as well as Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and the National Rural Health Association (NRHA), in a critical research project to identify the underlying causes of growing CEO turnover, so that as an industry we will be better equipped to identify solutions and reverse this unsustainable trend.

The survey launched May 31, 2018. This study seeks the opinions of current and prior CEOs and Board Chairs of Rural/Critical Access hospitals. The survey takes about seven minutes to complete. It can be accessed at www.ruralceoturnover.com.

Initial results of the survey will be shared at the NRHA Critical Access Hospital Conference on September 27 - 29, 2018, in Kansas City, Missouri.
