Press Release

AESC’s Chief Marketing Officer Martha Clement Rochford has informed the organization’s leadership of her decision to leave AESC effective December 31, 2025, to step back from full-time work and prioritize family and flexibility at this stage of her career.

“As my family priorities have evolved, the time has come for me to step back from full-time work. I’m making this transition with tremendous gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to AESC’s growth and transformation. I’m especially proud of what we’ve accomplished together this year, from launching our new website to expanding the marketing tools available to our members, and I’m confident the Association is well-positioned for continued success,” Rochford said.

AESC President and CEO James Edmund Datri said, “I know from speaking with Martha that this is a decision she did not come to lightly. Martha has been instrumental in AESC’s turnaround and transformation this year, and while we’ll miss her marketing and communications leadership and expertise, we of course fully support her decision to prioritize family. I want to thank Martha for leading the creation of our impressive and user-friendly new website; conducting AESC’s 2025 research that our members will be able to use to their advantage throughout 2026 and beyond; and developing the many foundational assets Martha and her team built to elevate our brand across areas and arenas — all key to our success this year. I am grateful for her talent and her professionalism, and her commitment to our members, our team in our work together, and the Association during this critical turnaround year.”

Rochford added, “I’m confident that I’m leaving the marketing organization well positioned, with strong foundations in place to continue growing and evolving our platforms in support of AESC’s members and the broader industry. I’m also deeply grateful for the relationships I’ve built and the work we’ve accomplished together. I’ll be cheering for the continued success of AESC and this incredible community from the sidelines.”

Datri added, “As we move forward, we will build on the strong marketing foundation Martha helped establish to continue delivering exceptional value to our members and advancing AESC’s strategic priorities. We are already at work evaluating how to best position our marketing functions to support our members moving forward, our ongoing strategic priorities, and the continued growth and transformation of our organization as we move into 2026.”
