The Forum provides an opportunity for AESC member professionals from smaller and boutique firms to cover trends in executive search and leadership consulting, and exchange best practices for addressing challenges and solutions.

Kate is a co-founder and Managing Partner of SEBA Executive Search, leading the firm's global Marketing & Revenue practice. David had been serving clients across the globe for Kincannon & Reed for nine years before being named President in 2019. Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, David holds a BS from Arizona State University, an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management, and an Advanced Certificate in Executive Search and Leadership Consulting from Cornell University.
Prior to joining Kincannon & Reed, David led PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Canadian agribusiness practice and served in international positions across Cargill’s animal nutrition, grain milling, and meat processing businesses. David is actively involved in the search profession and leads Kincannon & Reed with a vision and understanding that the leadership placed will impact the food and agriculture industries.
Ranju leads executive recruitment in across various industries, and oversees the management of the firm. Ranju also leads the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion initiatives and Leadership Development practice with Dr. Jill Birch. She is the Head of the Panorama Leadership Diversity & Inclusion Practice. As a Partner of Pekarsky & Co., Ranju provides counsel to the C-Suite, Senior Executives, Board and Human Resource leaders. Candidate and client care are fundamental components of her approach in search, and she brings a depth of understanding when it comes to leading key business strategies and initiatives.
Ranju joined the firm in 2009, and prior to that was the Senior Vice President, Corporate Services for Alpine Environmental Ltd. Originally from the U.K., and raised in Vancouver, she relocated to Calgary in 1993 where she practiced as a professional biologist and business leader for 16 years overseeing corporate functional areas, and honing her skills in business excellence.

She is currently the co-chapter chair for the New York chapter of Quorum Initiative, a professional organization dedicated to the advancement of executive women in business, culture, and public policy.
Lynne holds an EMBA from Baruch College, Zicklin School of Business, and a Bachelor of Arts from Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio.

Kelsey Klausing, MS, is the Practice Manager for Hogan’s Solutions Partners team. She is responsible for assisting in the growth, delivery, and support of Hogan’s partners in their journeys to leverage personality assessments in their talent management strategies. Kelsey plays a key role in delivering projects and driving continuous value in partner relationships and identifying new opportunities to implement assessments to enhance partners’ talent management services.
Prior to joining the Hogan family, she was the manager of people science and optimization at Macy’s Inc., where she led the research, design, and implementation of pre-hire assessment tools to identify the best external talent. Kelsey built and secured assessments, interview guides, case studies, and the like. She also conducted ongoing scientific analysis of tools to ensure effectiveness and minimize risk.
While serving as an external consultant with Performance Assessment Network (a PSI business) for five years, Kelsey helped hundreds of clients add a layer of science into the art of hiring and development. She led client-facing projects involving job analyses, competency modeling, structured interview guides, assessment recommendations, and validation studies. Partnering with dozens of assessment vendors in the industry, she maintained the catalog of offerings and ensured the accuracy of assessment overviews, reports, and versions.
She earned her master’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, where she researched diversity in the workplace and its impact on recruitment and employee engagement. She also holds a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University, where she majored in psychology and minored in interpersonal relationships and sociology.
Patricia Astorga is the General Counsel and is based in the New York office. Patricia manages the legal, compliance and risk management functions and oversees our legal team. Patricia also plays a critical role in the firm’s growth strategy.
Patricia joined Mintz Group from the U.S. Department of Justice, where she most recently served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of New Jersey. As a federal prosecutor, Patricia led several jury trials to conviction and conducted investigations and prosecutions of the Anti-Kickback Statute; health care fraud; misconduct by drug manufacturers, pharmacies, physicians and medical practitioners; organized crime; narcotics conspiracies and distribution; domestic and international money laundering; federal firearms offenses; human trafficking; and child sex exploitation crimes.
Patricia was a litigator at two international law firms, Milbank, and Weil, where she represented corporate clients in all aspects of litigation and across jurisdictions and industries, including financial services, banking, transportation, insurance, private equity, manufacturing, real estate, and media & entertainment.
Patricia is admitted to practice in the State of New York, the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the U.S. Supreme Court. She served as a law clerk for the Honorable George B. Daniels in the Southern District of New York.

Tony Bolliger joined CareerSMITH, Inc. in 2003 after having spent ten years in the environmental and construction industries. Prior to joining CareerSMITH, he was employed as a Senior Project Manager for a billion-dollar environmental engineering and remediation firm located in Northern California. Projects included managing large-scale remediation programs for the Department of Defense, environmental consulting, technical assistance with hazardous waste management, and management of solid waste construction projects.
As President of CareerSMITH, Tony develops strong relationships with clients to fulfill a broad range of position levels and functions across multiple market sectors including Energy, Power, Infrastructure, Transportation, Government, and Environmental.
