The successful Senior Associate will thrive in a high growth, collaborative, and entrepreneurial environment. The Senior Associate will develop the tools to think analytically in client meetings and research. They will work closely with Dinte leadership with the opportunity to chart their own career development with mentorship.  The Senior Associate will play a critical role in successful search execution, serving as the foundation of every project.  They will split their time conducting research, interacting with the leadership team, creating deliverables, and attending client and candidate meetings. They will also play an active role in training and developing new and existing associates. The Senior Associate is a proactive and engaged member of the associate team who helps instill Dinte values and best practices throughout the organization. The Senior Associate will begin to execute searches by contacting potential candidates for initial vetting, as well as assisting in interview settings and candidate engagement.

 

The Senior Associate will:

 

  • Conduct research using a broad range of channels, presenting data in an easily digestible and concise format
  • Enter, organize, and analyze client data using best practice data analysis techniques to identify key themes and insights 
  • Prepare client deliverables in Word and PowerPoint to convey data/research findings in a compelling way
  • Support Project Managers to produce high quality deliverables for clients
  • Conduct and/or support client research, contribute ideas to the design and development of compelling insights
  • Plan and manage own workload on multiple projects, prioritize own work to meet challenging deadlines
  • Build reusable, client-ready collateral, and presentations that clearly define the problem, summarize the analysis, outline potential solutions and lead to recommendation(s)
  • Proactively develop own learning; build own expertise and experience to contribute across a range of client projects
  • Identify pool of potential candidates found over the course of research by utilizing published and proprietary database resources, print and online media, professional and association journals
  • Synthesize information presented to direct search and business development strategy with Project Managers
  • Train and mentor a growing group of Associates in research practices, market analysis, and the Dinte search process
  • Attend all internal and external meetings including kick-off and status calls with clients, and candidate interviews
  • Provide support to the project managers in the coordination of all activities involved in successfully arranging for candidate interviews
  • Consistently input and update records via proprietary internal database
  • Screen candidates to meet the initial must-haves and schedule in-person interview
  • Begin to brief clients on market intelligence and candidate backgrounds during status update calls
  • Complete Reference reports and First Advantage background checks
  • Ensure accuracy of database entries

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Interest in leadership, people, commercial dynamics, organizations, and behavior; leads with curiosity – about others, our business, our clients’ businesses
  • Undergraduate degree is required
  • 2-4 years of work experience with regular exposure and engagement with clients
  • Research experience and strong analytical skills able to use multiple research channels
  • Highly proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and advanced Excel
  • Highly numerate and structured thinking; possess problem solving and solution-oriented mindset
  • Excellent writing skills; can prepare concise and compelling reports
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Fluent English speaking; other language skills a plus
  • Thinking agility: thinks ahead, analyses and solves problems, is innovative and handles ambiguity well
  • Operating with excellence: is driven, proactive, results focused; sets high standards for self and for others
