The Position

As a Senior Research Associate, you will be an integral part of the Executive Search team, working alongside a contingent of specialist executive search consultants to deliver successful outcomes. Our firm works in partnership with a number of the industry’s leading clients who are delivering an unprecedented pipeline of critical projects in Australia and the wider APAC region.

Our Executive Search mandates often involve detailed research of the market globally, as our international reach is a key differentiator of Quinton Anthony. Functionally, you will join an experienced and supportive research cohort, working together to become subject matter experts in their respective industry segments.

This role is available for a 4- or 5-day working week in either Sydney or Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities

With a high degree of integrity and passion, you will:

  • Partner with QA consultants on executive and/or retained assignments, advising on search strategy and candidate profiles
  • Develop, drive and support strong business relationships with clients to ensure successful placements and guarantee customer satisfaction
  • Approach and build relationships with active and passive candidates to engage for current and future career opportunities
  • Learn and understand our specialist markets and deploy best in class search process to source candidates and build a database of diverse talent in Australia and overseas
  • Conduct benchmarking and market intelligence/mapping
  • Maintain and champion our database to ensure the accuracy and integrity of information together with ownership and project management of assignments and report creation
  • Attend relevant industry forums and seminars for updates, knowledge-sharing and networking

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Prior research or resourcing experience, including creative approaches to data gathering and analysis
  • Demonstrated ability in screening candidates and identifying strengths and areas of development
  • Articulate and able to interact with senior managers and executives
  • An eye for detail and strong intuition for culture fit while screening candidates
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • High level of personal accountability, integrity and authenticity. Collaborative team player, with the ability to work across the QA business to provide a positive and seamless experience
  • Excellent MS Office and technology skills
  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications
