Kerryn Wilson is an Independent (Freelance) Executive Search Researcher. She is the Director and Founder of Wilson Research, a specialist consulting practice dedicated to providing strategic and flexible research-led talent solutions to executive search firms, recruitment firms and directly to organisations.
She has been identifying and optimising game-changing global and local talent to create valuable opportunities for her clients for over 30 years.
Kerryn has successfully completed hundreds of research assignments globally, regionally and nationally, across diverse sectors, industries and functions, for Board, C-Suite and other senior professionals. She has the experience and expertise to identify, engage, and assess individuals for the roles that are rarely listed, hard to categorise, difficult to fill, and may require specific niche or technical skills.
Her passion for research is driven by her insatiable curiosity and the unique aspects of each search. She thrives on the incredible talent she engages with, the rigorous and innovative methodologies she executes, and the intellectual stimulation that comes from working across an array of sectors, geographies and roles. Using leading edge and traditional research techniques, she uncovers the highest calibre of executive talent.

AESC trained in best-in-class executive research practice, Kerryn is also a Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR) with AIRS SearchLab and a Certified People Sourcing Professional (CPSP 1 + 2). She holds a Master’s in Human Resources Management (Distinction). In addition, she has won several company awards for ‘Outstanding Service’ over the years.
Outside of her business, she loves to travel, practise yoga daily, stay fit, spend time with family and friends, and apply her professional skills to extensively researching her family history.
